Car seat raincovers are made by the seat manufacturer but you can also buy universal covers that are often just as good quality but cost a lot less. They can cost from £10 all the way up to £30 but are well worth the money.

If you own a Ferrari F40 for example then there is no chance of fitting a Rear-Facing Recaro Polaric in it however if you own a new shape Ford Mondeo it will fit. If your car has Isofix points then most Isofix Car Seats will fit however you must always check the compatibility list which is often on the Car Seat Manufacturers website.

Just by doing a simple Google search you can actually find out if a seat is likely to fit your car or not so that is something certainly worth doing.

Car Seat technology has moved on significantly in the last 10 years meaning for not much more money you can purchase a group 2-3 car seat which will offer that level of protection and safety you expect.

The Government needs to step in and make it illegal for these companies to sell booster seats but how long will it take? When will they do it? Nobody yet knows but there are petitions going and it has been brought to their attention. When and if there is any news we shall let you know!
