Beware of used car seats

Lets face it, buying items for your baby can be very expensive! Most of the time second hand items are fine however you should avoid used or second hand car seats.

You could be putting your child’s life at risk if you use a second hand car seat. Even if the seat looks in perfect condition it could be damaged and have a fault -- it’s not worth taking the risk! If you have no other option but to use a second hand car seat then please note they have an expiration date which needs to be kept to -- the date is usually on a sticker on the back of the seat. Also, search the internet and see if that particular model of car seat has had a manufacturers recall.
